Thiruvananthapuram: The distribution of enumeration forms across Kerala has crossed one crore, marking a major milestone in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, Chief Electoral Officer Dr Rathan U Kelkar said on Monday.

He noted that the achievement was reached within just eight days, reflecting the efficiency of the ongoing voter enumeration drive.

Dr Kelkar clarified that the upcoming local body elections will not affect the SIR process. He expressed confidence that the drive will gain further pace in the coming days as newly appointed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) become active.

He also urged voters to make effective use of the online facilities available for the process.

The enumeration phase, which runs from November 4 to December 4, involves BLOs visiting every household to collect and verify voter information. Electors listed in the 2025 electoral roll must fill out their details, sign the form, and return it to the BLO. Those currently away from home can complete the process online, as the digital system is already operational.
