TVPM to host India-West Indies T20I in December

Greenfield stadium

The Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram will host the second Twenty20 International (T201) between India and the West Indies on December 8.

This will be second T20I to be staged at Greenfield. India and New Zealand had played a T20I in 2017, while India and Windies featured in a One-Day International (ODI) at the same venue last year.

India hold a perfect record at Greenfield having won both games.

India's home season for 2019-20 will include five Tests, nine ODIs and 12 T20Is.

India will play South Africa for the Gandhi-Mandela Freedom Trophy in September.

Bangladesh, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Australia too are scheduled to tour India.

The five Tests – three against the Proteas and two against Bangladesh to be played in 2019-20 season – will be part of the Test Cricket Championship.
