Bumrah bowls his most expensive powerplay spell in T20s, credit to Pakistan

Pakistan may not be at the level of India across all departments of the game, but they managed something most sides dream of in the Asia Cup Super 4s clash against their arch-rivals in Dubai.
The Pakistani batters gave no joy for India's ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah in the powerplay. Bumrah leaked 34 runs from his three overs in the powerplay, without a wicket, which was his most expensive stat in T20s.
Fakhar Zaman and Sahibzada Farhan hit Bumrah for two fours in each of his overs. Farhan accounted for four of those boundaries, including smashing one off a bouncer.
Zaman began by flicking one behind square and then danced down to clear mid-off for consecutive boundaries in Bumrah's first over.
India tried something different in the Asia Cup by letting Bumrah exhaust three of his four overs inside the powerplay. He bowled three inside the first six against the UAE and Pakistan in the league phase.
According to a Cricinfo report, Bumrah had only bowled three overs inside the powerplay in 11 of his 244 prior T20 games, including in the IPL.
Bumrah completed his quota in the 19th over and it did not go his way either. A six from Faheem Ashraf and a dropped catch meant the pacer went wicketless, giving away 45 runs.
