Bengaluru: BCCI appointed Pragyan Ojha as the chief selector to replace Ajit Agarkar in their selection committee. The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) decided to proceed with Ojha, already a panel member, to head the selection panel for the national side here on Monday.

The former Indian spinner was the interim in charge of the men's selection committee after Agarkar’s departure on October 4 and will now remain the chairman of the panel. The BCCI announced Ojha was selected to chair the committee based on seniority (most Tests).
