Margao: Kerala registered their third successive win in the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship qualifiers here on Sunday. The seven-time champions posted a facile 3-0 win over Chhattisgarh in a Group A match.

Kerala had earlier beaten Gujarat (3-0) and Jammu and Kashmir (6-1).

Kerala, who have nine points from three matches, meet hosts Goa in their final game on Tuesday (4 pm).

Kerala took an early lead through Sajeesh in the sixth minute. The winners led 1-0 at the half-time break.

Junain doubled the lead in the 56th minute, while captain Nijo Gilbert made it 3-0 in the 68th.
