Hello
More than 10 days have gone by since Arjun, hailing from Kozhikode, went missing in the landslide at Shirur village in Karnataka and his whereabouts are yet to be ascertained.
Defence PRO Athul Pillai said that divers were unable to search the deep waters due to strong currents.
Kerala ministers Mohammed Riyas and A K Saseendran will reach the site by noon.
Local MLA Satish Sail has accused Kerala 'people' of delaying the search operation in the river.
Advanced Intelligent Underground Buried Object Detection-based drone was used to detect the truck trapped under the Gangavali River.
On Wednesday, search operations confirmed that the truck driven by Arjun, a native of Kannadikkal in Kozhikode, is trapped on the riverbed of the Gangavali River.
The truck is located approximately 20 meters from the riverbank and five meters underwater.
Army will use an advanced drone for the search.
Equipped with LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) and Sonar technologies, the drone can give accurate details of the truck.
A military-grade drone will be brought to the location on Thursday, by train from Delhi, for the completion of the mission.
