Ziya Faris, the six-year-old girl who died of rabies in Kerala sustained bite wounds over the head, chest, left shoulder, left middle finger, and left lower limb.
The child, a native of Kakathadam, Peruvallur, Tirurangadi, suffered serious injuries in the attack, with wounds to her head and leg.
Those standing at bus stops and children playing in their courtyards were mauled.
