Vagamon in Idukki will host the International Paragliding Festival from March 19 to 23.
If you are planning to visit Varkala with friends and try a hand at surfing during the festival, the trainers of Moonwave Surf School can offer a free lesson.
It is estimated that nearly 100 people, mostly foreigners, take surf training every day at Varkala beach.
After the La Jolla tournament, organized by the International Surfing Association (ISA), Lopez aims to compete in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
