Competition Commission approves Air India-Vistara merger deal
The US tech giant penned a blog 'The Heart of the Matter' to put across its point on how the orders would harm the digital ecosystem in the country.
The order comes months after the National Restaurant Association of India asked the CCI to investigate the companies for breaching platform neutrality by providing priority to exclusive contractors.
Google Pay is a popular digital wallet platform.
A 3-member bench of the NCLAT headed by chairman Justice S J Mukhopadhaya has set aside the earlier order passed by the Competition Commission of India in this regard.
The probe would be completed in about a year and Google executives would likely be summoned to appear before the CCI in coming months.
