Around 1,700 applications were received for the scheme for financially weak students.
Only the scores obtained in CUET(PG)-2023 will be considered for admissions for the academic year 2023-24.
In an interview with PTI, the UGC chief shared the statistics and said the recovered amount is being disbursed to 14,443 students.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Chancellor of Birmingham University Karan Bilimoria.
The university is planning to take in four startups and provide them with assistance.
The proposal in this regard was passed during the varsity's Executive council meeting on Friday.
The university will examine the applications and release the final list of the students who will become beneficiaries of the Financial Support Scheme (FSS), an official said.
The action come days after a similar ruckus at Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia over the screening of the documentary.
The undergraduate admissions, which the university held through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for the first time, concluded in December. But thousands of seats of the total 70,000 under various undergraduate courses could not be filled.
According to a notification issued by Registrar Vikas Gupta, this would be the last and final round of undergraduate admissions for certain shortlisted colleges.
