The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which conducts the examination announced the change on Thursday. The development came following a spike in COVID cases in the country.

Candidates subscribing to the test package will also be given free access to Manorama Yearbook Online for a year.
The Centre was initially not willing to give an extra chance to the candidates but it had later agreed to do so at the suggestion of the bench.
