Hello
The incident is the social media site's first apparent widespread service disruption since billionaire Elon Musk took over Twitter as CEO in late October.
A poll by Musk, on whether he should quit as Twitter CEO showed the majority of users of the social media platform who took part voted in favour of the move.
About 57.5% votes were for "Yes", while 42.5% were against the idea of Musk stepping down as the head of Twitter, according to the poll the billionaire launched on Sunday evening. Over 17.5 million people took part in the vote.
The poll is scheduled on Monday although the billionaire did not give details on when he would step down if the poll results said he should.
In a 24-hour poll later by Musk on Twitter on whether to restore the journalists' accounts, 58.7% votes were in favor of restoring them immediately.
All the suspended reporters have in recent months written about Twitter's owner, billionaire Elon Musk, and changes at the platform since he bought it.
The company said Twitter Blue subscribers will get access to subscriber-only features such as the ability to edit tweets, while government accounts will get a gray checkmark.
The move was likely a pushback against the 30% cut that Apple Inc takes on revenues from apps on its operating system, the report said, with lower pricing for the website likely to drive more users to that platform as opposed to signing up on their iPhones.
While Starlink is designed for consumer and commercial use, Starshield is designed for government use.
Musk, who bought Twitter last month and promptly fired Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde, provided copies of the communications to journalist Matt Taibbi, who broke the story in a long series of tweets on Friday.
