Affectionately known as Sanoo Mash, he died on Saturday at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi.
Prior to Sanoo’s biography, Changapuzha was a much-misunderstood personality.
He was a literary critic and biographer who made Malayalam literary criticism accessible to the common people.
He authored over 40 books and received numerous honours, including the Ezhuthachan Puraskaram.
