In a letter dated April 4, the Chief Secretary directed Prasanth to appear in person for a hearing in her chamber on April 16 at 4.30 pm.
In his compendium of statement of defence, Prasanth alleged that Jayathilak and Gopalakrishnan engaged in a deliberate effort to manipulate official records.
The controversy arose when K Gopalakrishnan, Director of the Industries Department, created a WhatsApp group named 'Mallu Hindu Officers'
Prasanth said that the inability to provide him access to the original authenticated/unaltered digital material that has been cited in the inputations would imply that the government does not possess the same.
Prasanth, popularly known as 'Collector Bro' during his tenure as Kozhikode Collector, was suspended from service on November 11 for his social media remarks against senior officials.
The notice alleges deliberate fabrication of documents, orchestration of false news reports, and defamation aimed at damaging his reputation.
