Swapna Suresh was responding to the media after appearing at the Kadugodi police station to give a statement in the complaint against Vijesh Pillai.
The notice, sent through his lawyer Nicholas Joseph, asked Swapna to provide an unqualified apology for her remarks and pay a compensation of Rs 1 crore as damages.
Kannur unit of the Crime Branch is in charge of the investigation.
Swapna alleged that the CM was silent about the Brahmapuram issue due to Sivasankar's involvement in the deal.
Karnataka police will summon Vijesh for interrogation as part of the procedures.
She said that Karnataka Police have collected evidence from a hotel in Bengaluru where she met with Vijesh. The post also said an anonymous person had stayed at the hotel with Vijesh.
The Crime Branch now claims that the phones of the accused have been sent for forensic examination and that the report has not been received.
Swapna, in her latest Facebook post, claimed she has evidence against Vijesh and that she already handed over the same to investigation agencies.

The Enforcement Directorate has begun an investigation into the financial transactions of Vijesh Pillai.
