Gavi, in Kerala's Pathanamthitta, became a major eco-tourism attraction after the release of the Malayalam movie 'Ordinary.' KSRTC regularly organises budget tourism trips to Gavi, where many also visit for trekking trips and tent stays organised by the forest department. You could also spot rare birds, wild tuskers and bison in their natural habitat in Gavi.

Gavi enjoys pleasant weather even during summer as it is situated over 3,000 feet above sea level. Tourists from all over the world are lured by the rare avian species and wildlife at Gavi. Many rare birds, including the Great Hornbill, could also be spotted in the forests here. Besides, wide, rare, and unique varieties of trees, plants, herbs, and flowers could also be seen here.
