Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Budget Tourism Cell has introduced a brand new, cost-effective tour package to the mesmerising archipelago of Lakshadweep. Designed especially for budget travellers, this comprehensive three-night, four-day itinerary lets tourists explore the stunning Agatti and Kalpitti islands without burning a hole in their pocket. The tour begins directly from Cochin International Airport.

To suit different preferences and budgets, KSRTC offers two accommodation options. Travellers looking for a more pocket-friendly experience can opt for local homestays, which also offer a great opportunity to experience the islanders' unique culture and warm hospitality. For those seeking premium comfort and privacy, a resort package with direct beach access is also available.

A detailed look at the four-day itinerary
The journey begins with a flight from Kochi to Agatti Airport on day one. On arrival, travellers will visit local attractions including Lagoon Beach, Western Jetty, South Beach, and Eastern Jetty, then wrap up the day with a spectacular sunset at Andhan Beach. The second day is reserved for thrill-seekers, featuring exciting activities such as snorkelling, swimming, dolphin watching, and a deep-sea boat safari. On the third day, tourists can enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride, spot marine turtles, go kayaking, and later cruise to Kalpitti Island on a private boat. The final day provides ample time to purchase local delicacies and traditional pickles before flying back to Kochi.
