Airline major IndiGo has decided to waive off change fees on change of time or date on domestic tickets that are booked between April 17 and April 30.
In a statement, the airline said that the passengers can make unlimited changes on domestic tickets booked in the mentioned period.
"This offer is in line with our philosophy of providing our customers a hassle-free experience, and giving them much-needed flexibility, especially in these times," said Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer at IndiGo.
Other airlines are expected to announce similar relief measures as the resurgence of Covid and the imposition of local lockdowns has started to hamper air passenger traffic.
