Airfares in the country are getting pricier as the price of Aircraft Turbine Fuel (ATF) is skyrocketing.
The airline has launched the flight to Navi Mumbai in addition to the daily flights to Mumbai.
A fuel surcharge is an extra fee added to a flight ticket when airline fuel prices rise sharply, to cover fuel costs.
Flights to Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah affected
The surcharge will range from ₹425 to ₹2,300, which is expected to push up airfares.

Several Indian airlines have suspended flights to and from parts of the Middle East following escalating tensions involving Iran and the closure of certain airspaces. IndiGo on Saturday cancelled all flights to and from the Middle East till 0000 hours IST, citing evolving airspace restrictions
The incident occurred around 7.30 pm while the Air India aircraft was positioned on a taxiway awaiting departure and the IndiGo plane was taxiing after landing at the airport, which operates parallel runways. Both aircraft involved were Airbus A320s.
