Muscat: Residency permit holders can now enter the Sultanate of Oman even if they aren’t vaccinated. However, they have to stay in quarantine for 7 days in Oman after arrival. They can end the quarantine if they test negative for Covid 19 on the eighth day. The passengers must board the flight with the negative report of the RTPCR test done 72 hours prior to travel. They will have to undergo RTPCR tests at the air port in Oman too. The decision to allow unvaccinated passengers into the country has come as a relief to hundreds of people who are stranded in various parts of the world and had been unable to fly to Oman.

Bahrain: No RTPCR report for vaccinated passengers
Manama: Those who have been fully vaccinated with one of the jabs that are approved by Bahrain need not present a negative RTPCR test report to enter the country. Bahrain has removed India from the Covid 19 red list. The passengers, meanwhile, have to undergo an RTPCR test as soon as they land in Bahrain and again on the 5th and 10th days too. AstraZeneca (Covishield), Pfizer, Sinopharm and Sputnik are the vaccines that are approved by Bahrain.

Booking begins for Kuwait flights
Kuwait City: Jazeera Airways has begun booking for direct flights from India to Kuwait. The website informs that there aren’t any vacant seats on the flights from Kochi until 8 September. Meanwhile, the ticket fares for Kochi – Kuwait services next week is more than Rs 1.75 lakh. Passengers hope that the fares would go down when other airlines including Kuwait Airways and Air India Express begin booking in this route.
