Karnataka RTC to run more services to Kerala during Vishu-Easter time

KSRTC ready to resume services between Kerala-Karnataka: state Transport minister

Kochi: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has decided to operate more bus services to Kerala during the Vishu-Easter season.

Apart from the earlier announced 24 special services, 64 special buses will be pressed into service to meet the extra rush of passengers during the festival period.

As many as 51 buses will be plied from Karnataka to Kerala from April 12 to 18. About 37 special services will be pressed into service for the return journey of passengers.

Karnataka RTC in-charge G Prashant said that more buses would be deployed for services with the increase in the number of passengers.

The special buses bound for Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kannur, Vadakara, Palakkad, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Kasaragod and Thrissur will be operated by the Karnataka RTC.
