By Tuesday midnight, Cyclone Montha, which formed over the Bay of Bengal recently, is expected to make landfall in Andhra Pradesh with winds of around 100 kmph. The IMD has also predicted heavy rainfall in several parts of the country till October 31, owing to the storm. The sea conditions are expected to be rough these days as well. Sixty-seven trains have been cancelled by the South Central Railway in the interest of passenger safety. Here is the list. Around 30 trains have been cancelled by the East Coast Railways as well, in view of Montha.

Flights cancelled
Indigo has cancelled flights on the Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry routes. They have advised all passengers to check flight status before leaving for the airport and to allow extra time for travel due to waterlogging and traffic congestion. Passengers are also offered flexible rebooking options. Vijayawada's Gannavaram International Airport has cancelled over 30 flights today.

Air India Express has also cancelled the following flights for today from Vijayawada:
