Kasaragod: The Kerala Startup Yatra, which arrived at the LBS Engineering College here on Friday, offered the students a peek into the intricacies of entrepreneurship. The young minds could interact with budding entrepreneurs and share their ideas at the session here. Students from higher secondary schools, colleges as well as LBS college students participated.

The ideation workshop, which began in the morning, was attended by dignitaries including the principal Dr Mohammed Shekoor, UG dean Vinodu George, Nithin Madhavan (co-founder and managing director (Kannur Technoldge)), Unni Krishnan Koroth (co-founder and CEO of Foradian Technologies), Amit Mishra, and co-ordinator Sarith Divakar.

Madhavan, Mishra and Koroth, a former LBS student, addressed the students. While Koroth gave a pep-up talk, Madhavan spoke on the do's and dont's while launching a start-up. Mishra gave an introduction to entrepreneurship.

The students seemed to be inspired after the address by the experts.

At the idea-pitching session, aspiring entrepreneurs pitched their ideas to the panel. Mishra announced the names of those who were shortlisted for the grand finale, which is a two-day acceleration programme, to be held in Thiruvanathapuram on November 26 and 27.

The Kerala Startup Mission is organising the Startup Yatra to identify promising entrepreneurs.
