40 vacancies open at NITI Aayog for creative minds

Pathanamthitta: The central government of India needs 40 creative minds for formulating projects. For this, the government would hire experts from public and private sectors via lateral recruitment. These 40 experts would be recruited to the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog), the policy think-tank of the central government.
Though the IAS officials were formulating the crucial projects earlier, the Centre now wants the brilliant minds from the private sectors, too, to work towards building the New India.
IAS officials can also apply for the job along with professionals at private companies, consultancies, and international multi-national groups. Even employees with the state governments and quasi-government organisations can apply to be a part of the elite group. The government is also offering huge pay cheques for the job that would be based on a contract.
The senior speciality post fetches the highest salary of Rs 2.20 lakh. This post would be level 13 of the central government cadre grade. There are 16 vacancies. People with post-graduate degree and 10 years of experience in their current jobs can apply for the post.
The applicant should be within the 33-50 age group. He/She should be proficient in conceptualising and implementing notable projects.
The next role of specialist is a grade 12 position. The salary promised Rs 1.45 lakh. There are 16 vacancies. The candidate should be in the age-group of 30 to 50, with a minimum experience of eight years. The salary for senior associate, grade 11 position, is Rs 1.25 lakh. There are 10 vacancies.
Associate officer, grade 10, will get Rs 1.05 lakh as salary. There are 18 vacancies.
The applicants should have knowledge and working experience for specific sectors such as farming, economics, climate change, data analytics platform, data management - analysis, finance, engineering, technology in health sector, higher education, national nutrition mission, project appraisal, public private partnership, development of villages, industries and business.
