The PSC has published the interview timetable for September.
Interviews for various posts, including HSST Hindi (Junior), Commerce (Junior), Assistant Manager at KFC, Pharmacist Grade-2, Full-time Junior Language Teacher Arabic, and Tractor Driver, will be held from September 16 to 30.
The interviews will be conducted at the Ernakulam District/Regional Office and the Kozhikode District/Regional Office, besides the head office at Thiruvananthapuram.
The interviews will be conducted in compliance with COVID-19 safety guidelines. The interviews of those who have come from the Gulf nations/other states, those in the quarantine period and those infected with coronavirus will be rescheduled if they apply for new dates.
The interview dates of those in hotspots and connection zones will also be changed if they upload an application on the profile before the interview date.
Candidates appearing for the interviews should download and fill in the COVID-19 questionnaire available on the PSC website and upload it on their profile.
11,997 candidates for Assistant Surgeon Examination
There are 11,997 candidates who will appear for the examination for the post of Assistant Surgeon/Casualty Medical Officer in the Health Department that will be held on September 12.
The examinations for Assistant Insurance Medical Officer (NCA-SCCC) and Assistant Surgeon (NCA-LC/AI, Vishwakarma, ST) in Insurance Medical Services will also be conducted along with it. A total of 14,249 people have applied for the post of Assistant Surgeon. Only 11,997 candidates gave the confirmation for the post before the last date for giving confirmation on March 11. The applications of 2,252 candidates were rejected.
Of these, only 11,997 had given confirmation by March 11, the last date for confirmation of the post. 2252 applications were rejected.
Candidates had requested for extension of the confirmation date but the PSC did not allow it. Those who have given confirmation can download the hall ticket from the profile and appear for the examination.
Food Safety Officer: 21,594 Confirmation
Of the 28,737 people who had applied for the post of Food Safety Officer in the Food Safety Department, 21,594 candidates gave the confirmation within the deadline (March 11).
The PSC rejected the applications of 7,143 candidates who did not give the confirmation for the examination within the stipulated day.
Hall tickets will be available on the profile of those who gave the confirmation. The PSC has decided to conduct the examination for this post on September 29.
OMR Exam for Training Instructor
The PSC has decided to conduct the OMR examination for the posts of Training Instructor (Electrician) in the Scheduled Caste Development Department, Junior Instructor - Electrician in the Industrial Training Department (Special Recruitment - SC/ST, ST only) and Electrician posts in the Film Development Corporation.
Initially, it was announced that the general examination would be held online on September 16. Now, the exam will be in OMR and the exam calendar has been published by mentioning the change.
