MBBS second allotment: Option registration begins today

Thiruvananthapuram: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala will open the window for option registration for the second phase allotment of the MBBS, BDS, Agriculture, Veterinary, Forestry and Fisheries courses in the state on December 5 evening. Options for the first phase allotment of Ayurveda and Homeo courses can also be submitted from then onwards.

The allotment list will be published on December 10 evening based on the options submitted by the candidates till 11 am on December 9. During this phase, fresh options can be given for the MBBS seats in Karuna Medical College, Palakkad and SUT Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.

However, allotments for Siddha and Unani courses are not being conducted in this round.

Meanwhile, the CEE will be making the allotments for the 15 per cent all-India quota seats of the BAMS course at self-financing Ayurveda colleges based on the Ayurveda rank-list list published by CEE. The allotment will be done without considering the place of birth.

At the same time, CEE has said that candidates who wish to retain their existing higher options for the second phase allotment of MBBS, BDS, Agriculture, Veterinary, Forestry and Fisheries courses should carry out online option confirmation.
