National Institute of Ayurveda admissions open for 6 MSc courses, apply now

The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), a deemed university that comes under the AYUSH ministry, has invited applications for admission to MSc courses in six subjects.

The programmes that are offered here are: MSc Ayurvedic Diet and Nutrition, Ayurvedic Manuscriptology, Ayur–Yoga Preventive Cardiology, Marma Treatment and Sports Medicine, Ayurvedic Cosmetology and Ayurvedic Herbology.

A total of 12 seats are up for grabs.The application prepared on paper could be submitted until 28 February. The application fee for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, persons with disabilities and economically weaker sections is Rs 500.

The total fee for the two-year courses is Rs 54,300.

Eligibility
The applicants should have a degree in ayurveda, homeopathy, unani, naturopathy, food and nutrition, physiotherapy, sports medicine, agriculture, horticulture or forestry. Those who have MBBS degree or MA in Sanskrit too can apply.
