This is how Sampriti landed a Google job with salary package of Rs 1 crore

Persistence pays off for Patna native Sampriti Yadav as she landed a Google job in London for a whopping salary package equivalent to Rs 1 crore! But it was not all easy for this B Tech graduate from Delhi Technical University. After engineering graduation in June 2021, she failed to get through at least 55 job interviews. That’s why this dream job at Google still remains unbelievable. She had to clear nine rounds of interviews at Google.

“I realised that you could find success in your failures. I have been studying big companies for a long time. This salary is not what fascinates me. It's a dreamlike opportunity to work in the London office of a company like Google," she said.

Samprithi's father is an employee of the State Bank of India, and her mother is the Assistant Director in the Bihar Planning and Development Department. Sampriti says she was inspired by her parents' integrity at work from an early age. Sampriti also witnessed her mother’s hard work in preparing for the competitive exams. It can be said that everything she embodied in her youth later became milestones on her path to success. Having said that, a long list of failures awaited Sampriti on the way to success. What sets Sampriti apart is his determination to move forward without getting discouraged.

Many people lament that if they fail an exam or an interview, their life will be ruined. "Many say it doesn’t matter if they write the exam anymore as they cannot win any interview anymore.”

Sampriti is a great inspiration to such people who lose faith in their abilities quickly. She believed in herself every time she failed. Most of us get frustrated when we do not get a placement during our studies. For the next year or so, Sampriti took part in over 50 interviews and had to wait for success.

What matters is participation in an interview. It is a great learning process. She never allowed her failures to demoralise her and kept attending more interviews. There was so much pressure, but she learnt to be cool and resilient. Each interview will be a different experience. The real talent of the interviewee is to convert these into learning experiences.

The journey to success is always stressful. But you should learn to be calm and collected during such situations. Undoubtedly, Sampriti is a very valuable role model for anyone who hopes to find a job of their liking.
