Law student who hit the headlines for porotta-making skills is now a proud lawyer

After her father’s demise, Anaswara decided to lend a helping hand to her mother so that she could support not just herself but her younger sisters: Manorama

Erumely: Anaswara, a law student, who was widely feted earlier in media for working in the eatery owned by her family here in Kerala's Idukki district, is now a proud lawyer. She has now fulfilled her dream of becoming a lawyer as she enrolled at the Kerala High Court recently.

Anaswara found time to help her mother in the hotel, making fluffy porottas, while pursuing LLB. Many appreciating her for her positive attitude towards life.

After her father’s demise, Anaswara decided to lend a helping hand to her mother so that she could support not just herself but her younger sisters too. She quickly learned to make hot porottas at the quaint eatery along the Erumely–Kanjirappally road.

She was also noted for her incredible porotta-making skills.

Interestingly, she became a sensation for being a young woman who aced the art of porotta-making that was earlier considered a forte of men. Meanwhile, people began thronging the eatery just to enjoy porottas made by her.

An institute in Delhi has offered to train Anaswara for the judiciary examination, free of cost. She completed her LLB degree from Al-Azhar College in Thodupuzha.
