The deadline for applying to Plus One (Class X1) courses in Kerala state schools has been extended till 5 pm on July 25. The Kerala High Court ordered the extension following the plea of students to extend the date as there has been a delay in the CBSE class X results.

The results were published this afternoon.

Justice Raja Vijayaraghavan had earlier extended the last date of application till today. Around 4.25 lakh students have already submitted their applications. The Department of General Education estimates that 30,000 more applications would be received after the results of Class Ten Central Board of Secondary Education exam are published.

Meanwhile, the students who reside in the high ranges and tea estates are facing difficulties to complete online registrations as the mobile network connectivity is pretty poor due to heavy rain.
