The School of Distance Education of the Kerala University has launched eight new courses. It has issued a notification for admission to a total of 17 programmes, including the new ones. Online registration will be accepted till Tuesday.

The eight new programmes are MCom Finance, MA (History, Sociology), BCom, BBA, BA (Economics, History, Sociology).

The nine existing programmes for which applications have been invited are: MSc (Computer Science, Mathematics), MLSc (one year), MA (Economics, Hindi, Political Science, public administration), BLSc (one year) and BA Political Science.

The fee payable is Rs 14,000 for BA, Rs 24,000 for BBA, Rs 14,000 for BCom (Finance/Cooperation), Rs 18,000 for BCom (Computer Application), Rs 7,500 for BLSc, Rs 10,500 for MA, Rs 14,000 for MSc Computer Science, Rs 12,000 for MSc Mathematics, Rs 11,000 for MCom Finance and Rs 10,000 for MLSc.

The amount could vary depending on the category of the candidate.

The hard copy of the application should reach The Director, School of Distance Education, University of Kerala, Kariavattom campus, Thiruvananthapuram – 695581, before November 22.
