Kochi: In a setback to the Kerala University Vice Chancellor, the Kerala High Court on Thursday allowed the current students’ union of the varsity to continue until the expiry of its one-year tenure and also permitted it to hold the arts festivals planned by the body. The SFI-led College Union

The land in question was allotted to the university by the State government in 1995.
The order also directed the Travancore Devaswom Board, which manages the college, to immediately reinstate him to service.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when SFI activists held a protest march to the vice-chancellor’s office demanding his ouster.
SFI has been staging protests at the Kariavattom campus since Monday, demanding Vijayakumari’s resignation.
