The applications could be submitted online on the website www.ideku.net before August 31
The deadline to submit applications is 5 pm on January 15, 2023.
The eight new programmes are MCom Finance, MA (History, Sociology), BCom, BBA, BA (Economics, History, Sociology).
In the order that was sent to the university registrars, the additional secretary of the higher education department noted that these universities could invite applications for the courses in the distance mode only if the University Grants Commission’s Higher Education Bureau denies approval for the Sree Narayana Guru Open University to conduct courses.
IGNOU was conducting the two courses through distance learning mode and litigation were going on in various courts regarding the validity of these courses.
