Job opportunities at Nuclear Fuel Complex in Hyderabad; how to apply

The Nuclear Fuel Complex in Hyderabad, which is an industrial unit of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has invited online applications for 124 vacancies of chief fire officer and several other posts.

Applications could be submitted before 10 April via www.nfc.gov.in.

Posts, eligibility, age, salary scale

• Chief Fire Officer: After completing Plus Two, the applicants should have passed the divisional officers’ course from the National Fire Service College in Nagpur. Besides, they need to have a work experience of 12 years. Or else the applicants should be BE in Fire Engineering with eight years of experience. The age limit is 40 years. The salary range is Rs 67,700.

• Technical Officer (Computer): Applicants should have passed BE/BTech in Computer Science/ Electronics. The age limit for applying is 35 years. The post has a salary of Rs 56,100.

• Deputy Chief Fire Officer: Those who have passed Plus Two should have completed the divisional officers’ course from the National Fire Service College in Nagpur. They need to have an experience of 6 years. Or else, BE in Fire Engineering with an experience of two years is needed. The applicants should not cross 40 years. The salary range is Rs 56,100.

• Station Officer: The applicants who have passed Plus Two should have completed station officers’ course from the National Fire Service College in Nagpur. Besides, they need to possess heavy vehicle driving licence. A work experience of five years is preferred. Or, BE in Fire Engineering is required. The age limit for applying is 40 years. Meanwhile, the salary range for this post is Rs 47,600.

• Sub Officer: Those who have passed Plus Two and completed the sub officers’ course from the National Fire Service College in Nagpur can apply. An experience of 12–15 years is preferred. The upper-age limit is 40 years. The salary would be Rs 35,400.

• Driver-cum-pump operator-cum fireman: The applicants should have passed Plus Two and should posses heavy vehicle licence. They should have a driving experience of at least a year. Besides, the applicants should have completed the Fire Fighting Equipmental certificate course from the National Fire Fighting College in Nagpur. The age limit for applying is 27 years. The posts has a salary of Rs 21,700.
