Thiruvananthapuram: Candidates who were not able to write the degree-level preliminary exam conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission on April 29 and May 13 due to valid reasons would be given another chance on May 27.

The candidates who were not able to appear for the exam due to reasons such as accident, illness or childbirth should produce medical/treatment certificates in the prescribed formats.

Those who had exams on these days that were conducted by universities or recognised institutions should produce the admission ticket of both the exams.

If their wedding coincided with the day of the exam, the candidates should apply with the proof. If the candidates were not able to write the exam due to the death of a very close relative, their applications along with the documents would also be  accepted.

The application should be submitted either in person or by an authorised individual at the district PSC office (except Thiruvananthapuram district) where the exam centre is located. The applications for Thiruvananthapuram should be submitted at the E F section of the PSC head office. The applications sent by post/email would not be accepted.

The applications can be submitted from May 15 (Monday) till May 22. The applications submitted earlier would not be considered. The candidates should apply again by following the new instructions.
