Several Malayalis in top 100 ranks of civil service exams

New Delhi: Several Malayalis featured in the top 100 ranks of the prestigiuous Civil Service Examination results announced on Tuesday

Other candidates who made it to the top 100 include VM Arya (rank 36), Anoop Das (rank 38) and Gautam Raj (rank 63).

Arya V M hails from Avani , Thalayal, Balaramapuram. She is the daughter of Venkiteswaran Potty and Mini V R.

"Approached several successful candidates to know more about the exam. I tried to remain positive and happy," Arya CM, who secured the 36th rank, told Manorama News.

The Union Public Service Commission announced the results of the CSE on Tuesday. Girls have secured the first four ranks. Ishita Kishore bagged the first rank in the all-India level examination. Kishore is followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra.

While the preliminary exam of the CSE was held on June 5, 2022, the main examinations were conducted from September 16 to 25. The results of Mains were declared on December 6 and the interviews ended on May 18.
