It’s time to apply for a major CSR scholarship for students

Higher education courses are expensive. However, bright students who are keen to pursue courses of their interest in their home country or abroad should not give up on their plans. Educational scholarships come in handy for students finding it difficult to raise money for their dream course. Various firms offer scholarships for students under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes. Applications could be submitted for the following:

Rolls-Royce Unnati Scholarship

Applicants should be female students in the first, second or third year of engineering courses in Computer Science, Electronics, Marine or Aerospace branches at institutions recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The annual income of their family should not exceed Rs 4 lakh. A minimum of 60 percent marks in Classes 10 and 12 is another requirement.

The scholarship amount is Rs 35,000. Those selected can also take part in mentorship sessions, webinars led by experts and workshops.

Preference will be given to differently abled students, those who are wards of a single parent and orphans. Check the website www.b4s.in/manorama/UNS5 to apply. The last date is August 31.
