Onam holidays for colleges from August 25 to September 3

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has announced onam holidays for educational institutions under Higher Education Department including professional colleges.

The holidays will commence from August 25 to September 3.

Onam, cultural festival of Kerala is also known as a harvest festival. As per the Hindu Mythology, Onam marks the home coming of King Mahabali.
