These seven tests can earn you a job in India’s top corporate firms

Leading corporate firms in India conduct national-level recruitment tests to select new employees. These tests are another means of securing appointments in IT and other private firms apart from campus recruitment. The following are the seven major recruitment exams in the country.

TCS NQT
Conducted by India’s largest IT company TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), TCS NQT (National Qualifying Test) has the participation of over 2,700 other firms from 23 IT and non-IT sectors. TCS NQT takes place in intervals of two to four weeks. Applications for the upcoming exam can be submitted till November 1.

Final and pre-final students; those who passed out from 2018 to 2022 and professionals having experience of two years can apply. Candidates can select from various packages to appear for the test. However, TCS NQT-IT can be attempted only by those in the IT field. Candidates who appear for the test will receive a scorecard valid for two years. Infosys
The recruitment by Infosys comprises an online test, technical interview and HR interview. Candidates having BE, BTech, MTech or MSc can appear. They should have no backlog. Online test deals with Maths, Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Coding and Puzzle-solving. Candidates are advised to use a computer for the online test. During the technical interview, skills of the candidates in C, C++ and data structure will be evaluated.

AMCAT
Meant to appoint freshers in entry-level posts, the Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test (AMCAT) is utilized by over 1,000 companies, including Snapdeal, ITC, Axis Bank and Accenture. The test evaluates the communication skills, logical reasoning and quantitative skills of candidates. The score is valid for one year. Website: https://www.myamcat.com/

CoCubes
CoCubes is a noted test conducted with the involvement of firms in the IT products and services and knowledge processing outsourcing sectors. eLitmus
The oldest recruitment exam in the IT sector, eLitmus evaluates the problem-solving, reasoning, quantitative aptitude and verbal ability skills of the candidates. The score is valid for two years. MET
