To serve, with love!

Behind every successful man, they say, there is a woman. A woman who is a mother, a sister, a friend and a spouse. And, most importantly the homemaker. The one who decides what to cook and feed the family on a day to day basis; what to whip up every single day so she could make everyone else happy. She does it with a smile, so, this got us thinking—would the men in their lives attempt to take the job off her for a day or two if need be? On Women's day, we decided to talk to a couple of successful men – men who are noted in their own fields to tell us about what they would do if they have to dish up something for the women in their lives. We talked to four people from different generations. A young popular actor, another young and talented musician, a sagacious politician, and a sportsperson who coached his wife to become the star of the country. While Balabhaskar, the renowned violinist, confessed that he is a disaster in the kitchen, former minister G Sudhakaran surprised us with his love for cooking. He even shared some simple tricks that he has picked up along the way to make a curry tastier. Balabhaskar shared those special moments about his attempts at surprising his wife and what he would like to change, if he could. Actor Tovino Thomas is committed—both to his lady love and to his food, and that showed when he said he would put in a good effort to plate up some really delicious goodies for the love of his life. And finally, we had Robert Bobby George, the Dronacharya award winner, husband and coach of Anju Bobby George, a world champion in athletics. He says he has a way with food, and shares his affinity for cooking. So much so, that he revealed to us, who is a better cook amongst the couple! [**G.
