Vitamin A,D,E and K are fat soluble. The fats in ghee and oils help rejuvenate the brain. However, such foods should be consumed in moderation.

Water has the ability to provide instant refreshment to the brain cells. So, it is important to drink clean water in regular intervals to stay fresh.

Prominence should be given to well balanced diet rather than tasty food. Do not forget to include vegetables, fruits and grains in all the meals in a day. A small patch of vegetable garden could be grown in your backyards to enjoy fresh and organic vegetables. The nutrients in the organic vegetables can stimulate the brain.

Try to consume food items that have low glycemic index. The glycemic index value of the foods would lower when cooked with vegetables, grains, fresh yogurt, lentils, dal, basmati rice, and barley and wheat flour.

It is better to avoid food loaded with sugar and all purpose flour or deep fried and preserved food items. These may severely affect the health and well being of the body and mind.

Try to include a glass of lemon juice, which is rich in vitamin C in your regular diet. This prevents acidity and improves the immunity power of the body. It also helps in the assimilation of protein and iron too.

Having a big banana in the morning would give you that instant kick of energy. Big bananas that are rich in many healthy vitamins and proteins could be included in your regular diet.

Adding ginger, garlic and turmeric powder in the dishes would make it rich in anti oxidants. These ingredients make the food tastier as well.

Consuming coconut water regularly helps boost the presence of electrolytes in the body. Drinking a glass of fresh buttermilk daily helps you feel refreshed and fills you with renewed energy.
