Crunchy chicken strips

Make your own chicken strips, marinated and rolled over a flavourful mix for that extra crispyness

700 gm chicken, boneless breast pieces cut lengthwise into thin strips
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
½ tsp black pepper powder
1 cup bread crumbs
½ cup cashew nuts chopped
2 tsp curry powder
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 egg
½ cup milk
½ cup flour
Oil for frying

For the yogurt sauce

1 cup yoghurt
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp honey

Marinate the chicken strips with vinegar, salt, ketchup and pepper and let it rest for 1 hour
In a plastic bag, combine the bread crumbs, chopped cashew, curry powder, and coriander leaves
Shake the bag so this mixes well
Beat the egg with the milk
Dip the marinated chicken in the flour, then in the egg mix and coat well with the bread crumb mix
Fry till it turns golden brown. The strips will takes around 8-10 minutes to cook Serve hot with yogurt sauce
