For all the 'kovakka' lovers, this salad would be an eye-opener. When the temperature soars, this green salad with high water content would make for ideal binge.

Ingredients
250gm ivy gourd (kovakka)
1 pomegranate


For dressing


Grind together


½ raw mango
1 small piece of ginger, peeled
½ cup coriander leaves
½ cup mint leaves
1 green chilli


Once well ground, add to ¼ cup mayonnaise


Preparation
Julienne the ivy gourd

Add ½ the pomegranate to this
Mix the prepared dressing with it
Keep it chilled in the fridge
Garnish with the remaining pomegranate seeds while serving
