This incredibly tasty dish could be tried if you are looking to enjoy something unique and special. It has great umami flavour from the soy sauce and other aromatics. Check out the amazingly easy recipe of soy sauce fish fry.

Ingredients
½ kg fish (cleaned and filleted)
12 dried chillies
¼ tsp black pepper corns
¼ tsp mustard seeds
6 shallots
8 cloves garlic
1 inch piece of ginger
¼ tsp cumin
¼ tsp fenugreek
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt as required
Oil as required
1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
¼ cup water
1 tsp vinegar
¼ tsp sugar

Preparation
Prepare the marinade by grinding the dried chillies, black pepper corns, mustard seeds, shallots, garlic, ginger, cumin, fenugreek, turmeric powder and salt into fine paste 
Marinate the fish fillets with the masala paste and keep it aside for at least 3 hours
Heat some oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish fillets. Keep it aside
Pass this oil through a strainer
Mix ¼ cup oil into it and transfer it back into the pan
Add the soy sauce into this oil and heat it up a bit
When it begins to bubble up, add water and the fried bits of the fish and mix well
Into it add vinegar, salt and sugar and bring it to a boil on low flame
After this broth has boiled well, add in the fried fish and mix well until the masala gets well coated on it
This dish tastes best when served hot.
