Lunch box: Squid rice

Those of you, who love seafood, should definitely have a go at 'rice with squid.' This can be easily made and packed for lunch.

Ingredients
300 gm basmati rice
300 gm squid
1 onion
1 tomato
6 crushed garlic 
Finely chopped ginger
5 green chillies
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala
Small piece cinnamon
2 cloves
2 cardamom
6 black pepper
Ghee

Preparation
Add salt to two litres of water and cook basmati rice
Clean the squid and cut into round pieces. Cook in 1/2 cup water along with turmeric powder and salt
Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a frying pan. Add two green chillies, garlic, and ginger Then add onion and tomato
Add to this turmeric powder, red chilli, garam masala
Mix the cooked squid to this and saute well
Heat ghee in another pan and roast cashew nuts and raisins. Set this aside
Then add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper to the ghee
Take half of the rice and mix it with the spices in the pan
Then add the squid masala and the remaining rice over it
Add the roasted cashew nuts, raisins and some coriander leaves
Cover the pan and cook for three minutes
Mix well and serve.
