Ingredients
3 tomatoes
1 onion
5 shallots
4 cloves garlic
½ inch ginger
4 tsp coconut oil
2 dried chillies
1 bunch curry leaves
1 tsp salt
Small ball of tamarind
1 tsp yoghurt
Preparation
Heat coconut oil in a vessel with thick bottom
Add ginger, garlic and halved tomatoes
Fry these for at least 2 minutes
Sauté the onions and shallots in the same oil
Transfer these into a plate
Remove the skin of the tomatoes
Add the curry leaves and chopped dried chillies
Finally add the tamarind, yoghurt and salt
Crush everything well together.
