Mutta surkka is a special Malabari dish that is extremely delicious and fluffy. Check out the recipe of mutta surkka in which eggs aren’t added.
Ingredients
1 cup raw rice
½ cup boiled rice
Salt as required
¼ tbsp baking soda
Water as required
1 cup oil
Preparation
Soak the raw rice in water for at least 4 hours
After 4 hours, wash the soaked raw rice well
Grind the soaked raw rice with boiled rice, baking soda and enough water in a mixer jar
Heat oil in a pan
Pour a ladle full of batter into hot oil
Keep the flame on low
The batter would rise and turn fluffy
Flip and cook on both sides.
