Bakery style tea cake

This soft and fluffy vanilla flavoured cake tastes best with hot tea in the evening. Check out the recipe of bakery style tea cake. 

2 eggs
¾ cup of sugar
¼ cup + 2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp milk

Slowly add sugar while beating the eggs
Into it add the melted butter and vanilla essence
Mix well
Sift the all-purpose flour and baking powder 
Add the dry ingredients into the egg mixture
Add 2 tbsp milk as well
Fold well into a soft batter
Pour the batter into a cake tin that is greased with butter
Bake for 35-40 minutes at 170 degree Celsius
Allow the cake to rest for 5 minutes before taking it.
