Ottada is a traditional snack of Kerala that is usually enjoyed as a breakfast dish or with evening tea. Here is how you can prepare tasty ottada in a non-stick frying pan.

Ingredients
1 cup of raw rice
¾ cup of boiled rice
¾ cup grated coconut
Salt as required
Water as required

Preparation
Soak the raw rice for at least 6 hours
Add the soaked raw rice along with boiled rice and grated coconut into a mixer jar
Pour water until it covers the ingredients
Now grind into a smooth batter
Add salt and mix well
Heat a non-stick frying pan
Pour a ladle full of batter into the hot pan
You will notice small holes appearing on the surface of the ottada 
Cook for 2 minutes with the lid on
Tasty and soft ottada is ready.
