Tasty biriyani with ragi semiya

Biryani is an all-time favourite dish for everyone. The arresting aroma of biryani always tempts us to relish it. If you are a health freak who worries about your calorie count, then try this easy, delicious and healthy biryani with the goodness of ragi.

Ingredients
4 pieces of chicken legs
1 cup of basmathi rice
2 cups of ragi semiya
4 onions
3 tomatoes
4 tbsp of ginger and crushed garlic
10 green chillies
1 tbsp of coriander powder
2 tbsp of biryani masala
Half cup of yoghurt
Coriander leaves and mint leaves
Salt to taste
5 tbsp of ghee
3 tbsp of roasted cashews and raisins
1 onion (fried)
1 tbsp of mix of fennel seeds, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom
A mixture of 1/2 glass of milk, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp of sugar

Preparation
Pour water into the ragi semiya and leave for 4 minutes, then drain the water
Pour ghee into a frying pan and fry raisins, cashews and onions
Add masala powder, onion, ginger and garlic paste and fry well
Add tomato and green chilli paste
After frying this, add turmeric powder, biryani masala, chicken pieces, yoghurt, lemon juice, coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt and enough water
' Now cook this for 30 minutes
In the meantime keep the semi-cooked biryani rice ready
Add enough salt to the ragi semiya and stir
First, place a layer of chicken masala in a saucepan and put half of the biryani rice on top of it
Put masala on top of it, then sprinkle it with ragi semiya
Put masala on top of it and add coriander leaves, mint leaves, roasted cashews, onion, 1 tablespoon of biryani masala, 1 tablespoon of ghee and milk mixture
Once after adding all the ingredients, put dum on low heat for 10 minutes
Now the nutritious and delicious ragi semiya biriyani is ready!
